The cutting-edge BSc in Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT) program offers a unique opportunity for motivated students to become part of a new generation of environmental professionals with cross-disciplinary knowledge. Drawing on Kings College’s expertise in science, engineering, management, and the social sciences, the EVMT program examines issues from multiple viewpoints to enable students to integrate different perspectives and generate innovative ideas and solutions. Specially designed courses cover subjects such as environmental technology; environmental law; environmental, social, and governance (ESG) management and reporting; green business; energy resources, and sustainable development. In the final year, a theory is put into practice through work on real-world problems with companies and NGOs in the Capstone Project.
Internships, exchanges, and the development of social skills such as effective communication, teamwork, and leadership training, build students’ capabilities and confidence to work on environmental issues in business, governmental and institutional sectors.

The BSc (Hons) Architectural Science and Technology degree at King’s College is designed to meet the requirements of accreditation by the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists. It reflects the global and interdisciplinary nature of the built environment professions.
Chartered Architectural Technologists are specialists in the science and technology of building design and construction. They form a strategic link between concept and construction and ensure compliance with relevant legislation, such as building codes and regulations. Their technical skills are underpinned by knowledge in construction science, building technology, digital engineering, and architectural design.
In this course, students have the opportunity to develop their skills in our dedicated studio spaces with access to specialist equipment and advanced computer software.
The identity of the Kings College Department of Architecture and the Built Environment rests on the necessity to design and build tomorrow’s buildings and cities that are socially, economically, and environmentally sustainable. Our courses and projects, therefore, address design and construction challenges in both national and international contexts.
Underpinning this course is the commitment to produce graduates who have an appreciation of architectural design. It aims to provide a solid understanding of the science of buildings, including their assembly and environmental performance.
At the core of the program is the composition and integrity of a structure or building, from design to how it performs through form, function, technology, and fabric. Themes include environmental science, construction technology, construction IT, and architectural design.
Students on this program may learn from academic staff who are often engaged in world-leading or internationally excellent research or professional practice. Contact time can be in the studio, workshops, practical sessions, seminars, or lectures and may vary from module to module and from academic year to year. Tutorial sessions and project supervision can take the form of one-to-one engagement or small group sessions. Some modules offer the opportunity to take part in external visits and fieldwork.
Financial Technology (FinTech) is a rapidly growing industry that uses technology to improve activities in finance. It has been disrupting the traditional delivery of financial services through the rapid integration of technology, algorithms, data, and mobile applications. Today, FinTech is considered to be one of the most important industries in the global economy, with over 50 billion USD of investment in start-up companies in 2018 alone, the largest skills gap with 1.5 million positions created, and the highest-paid salaries. FinTech has brought an unprecedented demand for professionals with advanced skills in finance, mathematics, programming, analytics, data science, applied statistics, and regulatory and compliance.
The Bachelor of Science in FinTech is a 120-credit program that includes traditional finance coursework but also provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of the theories and evolution of FinTech, data-driven financial modeling, financial data mining and machine learning, financial data analytics, and new innovations in the financial sector, including AI, blockchain, bitcoin, cloud computing, machine learning, IoT, crowdfunding, P2P lending, etc.
The primary goal of the program is to develop students who have the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue competitive professional and academic careers.
This degree program not only includes traditional finance coursework, but also provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of the theories and evolution of FinTech, data-driven financial modeling, financial data mining and machine learning, financial data analytics, and new innovations in the financial sector, including AI, blockchain, cloud computing, machine learning, etc. The primary goal of the program is to develop students who have the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue competitive professional and academic careers.
There are various career paths one may pursue after completing the FinTech program. In particular, careers in finance, technology, and entrepreneurship such as investment banking, wealth management, international finance, commercial banking, insurance, information technology, social entrepreneurship, etc. are vocations within the scope of this program. Graduates may work for FinTech startups as well which concentrate on alternative lending, cryptocurrency management, and trading, blockchain technologies, open banking, insurtech, Robo-advisement, machine learning, and data mining applications, and cybersecurity. Some may work for traditional financial services companies, which are in need of staff with technical skillsets to improve existing business practices and/or develop new processes related to technological innovations.

The Kings College Master of Business and Technology is uniquely designed to reinforce your IT skillset and complement it with project management experience and leadership clout. Operating at the intersection of business management and IT, our graduates are prepared to lead teams that build technology-based solutions and they are highly sought after by employers with 100% employed after completing the program.
Designed for working professionals, this program is delivered through an online format of scheduled and self-paced coursework that allows you to earn a Masters’s degree in just two years. We offer an innovative degree that focuses on business and technology and addresses the gap between business strategy and technical know-how. With this targeted body of knowledge, our graduates are prepared to lead digital initiatives as business analysts, project managers, or application developers.
The Master of Business and Technology program is designed for working professionals and is delivered through an online format of scheduled and self-paced coursework. Coursework is completed in 2 years. Each cohort begins in the fall term (August) and continues for 5 semesters. While the first year focuses solely on coursework, the second year allows students to put their new skills to use and gain real-world experience on a sponsored project.
