After high school, I went to a 4-yr college and a community college. Those schools ended up not being for me, but I quickly realized the importance of earning a degree. It was hard to find a job that didn’t require an education and it also impacted the salary amount that I could earn. I knew about King’s College and once I realized that I could earn my degree quickly and would get help finding a job once I graduated, it was an easy decision. I graduated from King’s College with a degree. During program, I took an event planning class and found that I really liked it. I am now working at Archer's Mountain Inn in guest relations. I do a lot of marketing work to create different accommodation packages that attract guests. I even created an eco-friendly package to appeal to a specific target audience. I was hired after I graduated from King’s College as an innkeeper. I was quickly promoted because of my education. King’s taught me professionalism and etiquette that have helped me advance quickly. The one-on-one attention that I received at King’s was also really helpful. You are guaranteed to take the classes you need in order to earn your degree. I wasted time and money at other schools taking classes that I didn’t need. If you are looking for a school where you can earn your degree in a shorter amount of time and will get help after you graduate, you should visit King’s College! A career in the medical field was what I always wanted. I started looking for a medical assisting school with a good reputation and a fast track to graduation. I visited King’s College and was so impressed with everyone that I met. They were all so nice and very helpful. I really got the sense that they want you to succeed and you are definitely not a number. The King’s College gives you a lot of hands-on time. I am a hands-on learner, so I really liked that I got to practice many of the clinical procedures by doing it and not just hearing about it. The classrooms are even set up like a medical lab with the same kinds of equipment as a real medical office. I learned lots of skills like phlebotomy, blood analysis, urinalysis, and even performing EKGs. During my externship, I was able to practice those skills. The King’s College job placement department really took the time to get to know me and what type of job I would want. It was a huge help that we all had the opportunity to meet with them to practice interviewing skills. They also helped set up interviews for me and I was hired 2 weeks before I even graduated! All of the hands-on clinical practice paid off as well. During my interviews, they asked me if I could operate an EKG machine. Because of the King’s College program, I could answer a confident yes! I look back on my time at King’s College and I realize how quickly it went. I had so much fun and I am so glad that I went to King’s College. I first heard about King’s College at a Career Fair Day at my high school. I scheduled a tour of the school and really liked that the programs were fast-paced, the classes were focused on the career, and that I would have the assistance of the placement department when I graduated. I felt really comfortable knowing they would be there for me from the beginning all the way through my career. The teachers at King’s made quite an impression on me. The smaller class sizes made it not as overwhelming and there was plenty of one-on-one coaching that you don’t get at larger schools. As part of our professional development classes, they shared their experiences of how things work in the real world and situations that we might encounter. I smile every time something happens exactly like they said it would and I feel confident that I know how to be professional in every situation. I owe my career to the King’s College externship program. I did my externship for the Omni, was hired after I graduated, and have moved up through the company. I was even recently relocated to Orlando, FL by Omni. King’s College helped me go in as a student and come out as a professional. They really helped me Finish First. From the first time I toured King’s College, I knew it was the right school for me. I could just feel it. I have always been interested in computers and I already had some computer programming experience, so I knew that the King’s College degree program would be a good fit. I really liked that King’s College was a small school that had fast-paced classes. I was able to finish school quickly and start a job. I also liked that they really prepared me for the workplace through the consistent school hours and the professional dress code. When I looked at other schools, they didn’t always have the classes that I wanted to take or the classes were full. King’s really simplified the process and the classes and books for my program were always available when I needed them. My professors and instructors at King’s College were really helpful and I have been able to apply so much of what I learned at King’s to my current job. I really feel like the knowledge that I took away from King’s has helped me in my career as a senior IT manager in job. I am so grateful for the connections that King’s has given me as well. They helped me get my current job and it was so nice to know that they were there to help. My advice to anyone looking at furthering their education is to take a tour of King’s College. As soon as you see the campus and learn about the programs, I know you will love it. I was unsure what I wanted to do after high school. After hearing about King’s College in my high school, I decided to visit the school and learn more about the programs. That was one of the best decisions I have ever made. During my tour, I sat down with an admissions representative who went over all of the different programs that King’s College offers. I knew that I wanted to help kids, but wasn’t sure how. During my tour, they helped me realize that I could help kids that are going through the court system by becoming a paralegal and working in family law. The externship that I did at the helped me to network with and led me to being hired by my current employer! I truly love my job Every day is different and I spend it working closely with my team of attorneys. program at King’s College helped me graduate in a short amount of time. When I look back at all that I have accomplished in 16 months, it amazes me. I would tell anyone who wants to better themselves to tour King’s College. I’m so glad I did!
