COVID-19 health and safety guidance

The health and safety of everyone at King’s College depend on the cooperation of all who come to campus. By taking care of yourself, you protect the entire community.
King’s COVID-19 response plans are based on the latest guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the North Carolina Department of Public Health
The following mandatory protocols must be followed by King’s College students, faculty and staff.

COVID-19 vaccine

  • Students in all degree programs, as well as faculty and staff, are required to be vaccinated.
  • Everyone at King’s College is encouraged to be vaccinated as soon as possible in the spirit of caring for each other and our surrounding community.

Face masks

  • Everyone on campus—regardless of vaccination status—is required to wear a face mask indoors. Masks may be removed if individuals are alone in an office with the door closed.
  • Face masks remain optional outdoors.

Physical distancing

In keeping with City of Charlotte guidance and good public health practice, maintain physical distancing to the extent possible.

Personal hygiene

  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
  • Use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60 percent alcohol if soap and water are not available

Personal care

  • Stay home if you are sick.
  • Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

Online Study

  • All Faculty members of the King’s College arrange online classes, quiz, assignments and exams due to COVID-19,
  • This online training is required.
